Violence |
Running mad, roaming wild
Thirsty for human blood
Craving for your clan
Wait until night falls
And darkness calls
And doom and death beckons
Until you see them at your door
Pause, and wait
Until your roof
Towers down crushing
In the ambers of raging flames
Or your empires
Succumb to bankruptcy
Swept by angry and hungry hands
But that ain’t the pain yet
Just, wait
Wait until you see father
Down on his knees
Begging for his dear life
Until your daughters dignity
Is ripped off in rape
And a shiny-edged blade
Raised high to slit your throat
Please, wait
Wait until the worst of times
Wait until we all go crawling
Wait until that dark cloud
That precariously hangs up there
Bursts down in disastrous storm
Keep waiting, for maybe then
You shall delve meaning that
It was your smile
In the awakening of revolution
That sent you those tears.
