Evil Vs Holiness: A reflection of hypocrisy |
The Wholly Church
I hungrily
walk into the holy house
I see heavy cars creep in parking spaces
I see my dearest missing rib lead praises
The man that seduces her at her side
I see the man of God perusing his guide
Searching what it says about giving
I hear him boom in holistic conviction
I drop my
miserable coin in the basket
I see the righteous ones waving notes
I see my daughter in a prostitute’s gown
They stare at her behind like they do heaven
I keep seeing strange things in this place
I see the man we picked drunk with alcohol
Neatly masked in the usher’s attire
All I want is a smile and a laugh
But for the tears that well my eyes
Really! The wholly church!
